With Yuri’s TechTalk we have launched a new format at STRG that examines technology, software development, and AI research from a practical perspective. The podcast is intended as an inspiring space for conversation and is aimed at everyone who does not just want to understand technology, but actively shape it.
The host is our CEO JĂĽrgen Schmidt, who speaks with compelling figures from business, research, and technology in an informal interview format. It is named after Yuri, our brand mascot, which we are currently evolving and associate with technological curiosity and openness.
A practical starting point
The podcast was launched in December 2025 with a pilot episode. To kick things off, Rupert Markowski from the Executive Academy of Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien was our guest. In the first episode „Real Talk with Executive Academy: How Storyblok works in practice“we discuss the creation of a modern web portal and how design, technology, AI, and strategy work together in a real client project. The conversation offers candid behind-the-scenes insights into a successful digital project, directly from practice.

What is Yuri’s TechTalk about?
The podcast is aimed at decision-makers, researchers, and all tech enthusiasts who are interested in real-world experiences, well-founded insights, and candid conversations. In an informal, approx. 30-minute interview format, we want to create space for personal experiences, industry stories, and concrete learnings.
In future episodes, we plan to, among other things:
