Senior DevOp / Sysadmin

We are looking for a DevOp / SysAdmin (m/f/x) to develop and support the orchestration and deployment processes of our cloud and virtual machine systems, to continuously improve our tech stack and architecture and assist with the setup and orchestration systems.

Your responsibilities include

  • Operating complex, high traffic customer systems of popular websites in Austria
  • Continuous improvement of our tech stack and architecture
  • Designing, enhancing and operating container images with our developers
  • Developing and supporting orchestration and deployment processes of our cloud and virtual machine systems
  • Implementing continuous security and improvements for our projects and customers (customer care)
  • Building a bridge between development and operations process
  • Managing our internal tools (Atlassian, GSuite, etc.)
  • Implementing GitOps principles

REQUIREMENTS – ESSENTIAL

  • Proven work experience of 5+ years in the field of system administration and/or DevOps with Linux based systems (Debian, Alpine)
  • DBA (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • PHP and Node on system level
  • DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts etc.)
  • Automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins)
  • Monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana)

REQUIREMENTS – DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge in HTTP caching layers (Varnish)
  • Web Server (Nginx)
  • Scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python, Javascript)
  • Deep understanding about networking, VPN and firewalls

We offer an annual gross salary of €55,000 according to the collective agreement based on Austrian law. Depending on your individual professional qualifications and previous experience your salary could be significantly higher.
