We are looking for a Senior Frontend developer to join our team. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
  • Developing concepts in relation to design-ops
  • Work in a cross functional framework within frontend development on international projects
  • Consult with the customers’ concept teams on a multitude of projects
  • Integrating data from various backend services and databases
  • Planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organisational units
  • Directing or performing website updates

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience.
Solid knowledge and experience in modern frontend development, as well as VUE.js OR React
Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
Able to solve complex problems.
Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience
Fair knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation

We offer an annual gross salary of €45,000 according to the collective agreement based on the Austrian law. Depending on your individual professional qualifications and previous experience your salary could be significantly higher.

Senior Backend Developer

About

Location: Vienna

We are looking for a Senior Developer versed in the programming languages PHP and Javascript (Node). Our software architecture follows a microservice approach and we use Docker and K8s for images and orchestration. Our environments are served by CI/CD pipelines.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Translating between client, product owner and developers’ needs
  • Planning whole software projects and their architecture for our media clients
  • Building software projects in a scrum team based on a microservice approach
  • Contributing and enhancing the CI/CD pipeline with our team of senior developers
  • Maintaining our framework software modules and components
  • Optimising current running software projects by contributing with your experience in Http caching, software caching and DBA skills
  • Contributing to data flow architecture, planning and building importers and building components which serves the data
  • Guiding our developers and junior developers in your scrum team and the ones in our clients’ teams with your wisdom
  • Be passionate about all of the above
  • Optional: contributing to the opensource community, hold speeches on developer conferences and staying in touch with other the developer community

Requirements

At least bachelor degree in computer science
Proven work experience of 5+ years
Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome
A team player but can work independently too
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Optional: experience with media houses and Content Management Systems
